The Office - Date, Cost, Bonus Material and Packaging for DVD and Blu-ray of Season 7...Michael's Last!

Big surprises are in store at Dunder Mifflin! Dwight is now the owner of the building and he may be letting this power go to his head; Andy is courting Erin who is dating Gabe; Jim and Pam are struggling with being new parents; and a parade of ghosts of girlfriends past haunt Michael, leading to his final days at Dunder Mifflin.

Today saw the official announcement from Universal Studios Home Entertainment for The Office - Season 7 on DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. It will arrive in both formats (making fans of this show lucky indeed, as most sitcoms don't sell very much on Blu-ray...but this is one of the exceptions!) on September 6th. The 5-disc DVD version will cost $49.98 SRP, while the 4-disc BD set is priced at $59.98 SRP. Both are in widescreen, with the DVD version accompanied by English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. The Blu version gets high-def video AND audio, sporting an English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack. Each version comes with subtitles in English and Spanish.
