Early last month
we let you know that Amazon had begun taking advance orders (see button link below) for
Numb3rs - The 5th Season on DVD. This morning CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment formally announced the title, though, giving us our first look at the street date of
October 20th. They've also let us know that the release, running 983 minutes, will be presented in Widescreen video, with English 5.1 and English Stereo audio, and closed captioning for the hearing impaired. We've also got a look at the packaging for you as well. No details about extras, if any, were mentioned, but stay tuned and we'll fill you in if we find out anything.
UPDATE (7/28): We've learned that this 6-disc set, besides featuring the 23 episodes from the fifth season, will also contain Cast & Crew Commentaries on Selected Epsiodes, and some Behind-the-Scenes Featurettes as well. No details about either are available yet, but stay tuned!
