Reader Eric Robert Wilkinson sent us a heads-up, which we're very grateful for, that there is now a promotional website up for the DVD release of
Nowhere Man. We don't usually post about these, because they usually show up after we've already posted news here about the release which is merely repeated at the promo site. This time it's a bit different, though. Even though
NowhereManDVD.com has the same text info that we
reported on a couple of weeks ago (description, extras, specs, etc.), there are two important things we've found here that fans will want to know.
First of all, the information from Image Entertainment gave an episode list for the release which was one short, leaving off the final hour of the series. We hoped it was just a typo, and now it seems to be confirmed that this is the case. That episode is shown to be included on the DVDs, according to the information at the promo website. We've checked with Image Entertainment too, and their announcement has since been corrected to show all 25 episodes as well. The episode, they say, is called "Gemini," whereas we understood it to be called "Gemini Man." Either way, the description of the story is clearly matching that of the final show of the series, so fans can feel confident that they're getting the entire run of
Nowhere Man on this set.
The other must-see item at that site is box art! It's there, although a bit small and at an odd angle. We've taken the picture in question, rotated it to be a bit straighter and blown it up a bit. Here's our manipulated version of that art, and you can see the original at the official DVD website:
Stay tuned and we'll let you know about any further updates about this release.
