North & South will be pleased with news we just received from Warner Bros; they will release
North & South (1985),
North and South: Book II (1986) and
Heaven & Hell: North & South, Book III (1994) on DVD in a 5 disc set (1392 mins). Look for this set
October 5th, for a suggested retail price of $69.98. The set will feature a retrospective documentary,
The History of North and South, featuring interviews with Patrick Swayze, David Wolper, John Jakes and other cast members.
When we first heard about this back in May, we assumed that
North & South would be released separately from
Book II and Book III. It's great that Warner is bringing out all three mini-series in one set at such an affordable price! We'll have more information when this becomes available, including artwork for the set, so stay tuned.
