Noble House - March DVDs for James Clavell's Mini-Series Starring Pierce Brosnan

2-Disc Set Coming From Lionsgate

Posted by David Lambert
James Clavell's blockbuster novel of rivalry, extortion and murder comes to life in this mesmerizing miniseries set in the high stakes business world of Hong Kong. Ian Dunross (Pierce Brosnan) is named "Tai-Pan" (supreme leader) of the powerful British-East Asia trading company, Struan & Co., just as rival (John Rhys-Davies) attempts a hostile takeover. Suddenly plunged into a criminal underworld of international espionage, deception and financial crises, Dunross turns up the heat by engaging in a dangerous romance with his nemesis's aide (Deborah Raffin). But with danger lurking around every corner, Dunross ultimately sees he has no choice but to fight for his company's honor and survival.
The Emmy-nominated mini-series Noble House is based on the novel by James Clavell (Shogun) and stars Pierce Brosnan ("007" films, Remington Steele) along with John-Rhys Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Lord of the Rings film trilogy). Lionsgate is bringing this production out on March 25th as a 2-DVD set. Running time is 376 minutes. Video is in the original full screen presentation, and audio is English 2.0 with subtitles in English and Spanish, with Closed Captioning as well. Cost is just $19.98 SRP, and you can currently pre-order it even cheaper than that, because the cost of Amazon's pre-order is only $13.99 at the moment! Amazon shows the release in widescreen, but that's an error because the official studio info does say full screen. Here is the package art from Lionsgate:
