While there's no USA announcement for it yet, the folks at Warner Home Video Canada have revealed that
Nip/Tuck - The Complete 6th Season is coming to DVD (at least north of the border) on
March 16th. The 5-disc collection is said to include all 19 episodes, plus a bonus Featurette titled "The Psychology Behind Plastic Surgery." Video is anamorphic widescreen, audio is English Dolby Surround 5.1, and subtitles are English, French and Spanish. Cost is CA$74.89 SRP. An image of the front cover is shown below.
What does this mean state-side? We're not sure yet, but we're planning to check into it. The short window to the street date, plus the fact that this release is going back to a "complete season" set (as opposed to the fifth year's run coming to DVD as a pair of split-season sets), in addition to the Canada-sourced-only info gives us pause and makes us frankly wonder if all of this is accurate. However, what we've passed along are the details which Warner - Canada has made public within the past 24 hours, so we're letting you know it (as we're sure other DVD sites getting Canadian information also will). But if we find out anything different, we'll certainly bring you an update!
