It's been a long time - August 2004, to be exact - since
Rod Serling's Night Gallery - The Complete 1st Season was released on DVD. Fans have been very upset that Universal has apparently abandoned this series for home video, when there are only three total seasons of the show to put out.
Apparently these voices have reached the ears of the powers that be, because rumors have recently reached our ears - from VERY reliable industry sources, who spoke only on condition of anonymity - that the second season of
Night Gallery will reach DVD at last! The release timeframe we've heard is a no-brainer, too: Universal is planning to put this out in the
September/October period, to sell this just in time for Halloween.
