As we
told you the other day, Warner Home Video is holding a live online chat with the members of the Home Theater Forum, and it's going on RIGHT NOW! Some awesome info just came out of the chat for
Night Court fans. Here's the scoop...both the question, which I personally asked (and which includes questions about other shows, too), along with Warner's complete answer to all my queries:
- < RonEpstein > (drum roll) I would now like to call upon...from TVShowsOnDVD.com.....your SOURCE for TV NEWS....Mr. David Lambert...
- < David_Lambert > Thanks for coming tonight! I hoped others would ask about these already, but since no one has, there are a few titles that TSoD readers will be upset about, if not brought up here! Any word on Scarecrow & Mrs. King, thirtySomething, Men in Trees, more Night Court or a Blu version of Friends? For myself, what about Logan's Run? :) Thanks, DONE
- < WHV > Sorry David. That's too many...
- < WHV > just kidding...
- < RonEpstein > If you run the #1 TV Show on DVD site you get priviliges :)
- < WHV > We don't have rights to Thirtysomething. No plans currently on Scarecrow, Men in Trees but we recognize there is interest. We'll revisit Logan's Run in the event the theatrical film happens.
- < WHV > Good news for you fans of Night Court though. Look for the long awaited Season 2 DVD coming next year!
- < WHV > We're continuing to develop our Blu Ray plans and you'll see many more shows on Blu Ray in the future. That may include Friends - some day - but I can't tell you when. :) DONE
Isn't that INCREDIBLE about
Night Court? Stay tuned, fellow fans of Judge Harry (yes, I'm one of you!), and we'll bring you more info, and the official word for this title, its street date and details, just as soon as Warner finalizes everything and makes the formal announcement. And thanks to the Home Theater Forum's Ronald Epstein...not just for his wonderful introduction of me, but for putting this wonderful chat together!! Give the man a big round of applause; he deserves it.
