They might not look like a team of crack detectives, but once veteran coppers Lane, Standing, Halford, and their bullish boss Pullman get their (false) teeth into their cold cases, things heat up pretty quickly. With old-school detective work and a little state-of-the-art forensics, the veterans unearth a range of baffling crimes including the murder of a lawyer, a racially-motivated attack on an Asian bride, and a mysterious unidentified human torso. Will they succeed where others have failed? Or will the burden of all the years begin to weigh down on them? After all, we all have to grow old sometime.
Following up on last month's
Season 1 set, the BBC and distributor Warner Home Video have this morning announced the
January 19th release of
New Tricks - Season 2. Cost is the same as last time, at a $39.98 SRP. Info from BBC/Warner is thin right now, but it's expected to also be like the previous release: a 3-disc set presented in widescreen video and English Stereo audio. We'll try to bring you confirmation of that soon, along with package art and hopefully detailed contents as well. Stay tuned!
