This past April we
had the heads-up that Morningstar Entertainment of Canada was planning on some DVD releases north-of-the-border for several Marvel superhero cartoons, including
The New Fantastic Four - The Impossible Man. This disc will be an adaption of an old VHS release, and like the tape is expected to have both the title episode as well as bonus episodes "Spider-Man Meets Dr. Noah Boddy" and "The Fabulous Fakir" (those two are taken from the classic 1967 "friendly neighborhood"
Spider-Man animated series).
Now we've got word that Morningstar Entertainment has announced
The New Fantastic Four - The Impossible Man for DVD release on
September 30th. That info is supported by
a pre-order listing at Amazon's Canadian branch. There we see that the list price is CA$14.98 SRP, but that - as of this writing, anyway - you can lock in your copy for CA$10.49 after discount. Note that this disc is "Region 1", so it will work on any standard DVD player in North America, even in the USA. Just because it's only intended for Canadian retailers, doesn't mean that fans south of the border can't import it and enjoy this release. Below we've got an early look at the cover art, but keep in mind that this may not be final.
