A month ago we
reported that BCI would release in late May their new 4-DVD set
Super Heroes: Volume 1, an "Advantage Collection" release with episodes taken from two classic animated shows:
New Animated Adventures of Flash Gordon and
Defenders of the Earth.
Now BCI is continuing that with a follow-up release,
Super Heroes: Volume 2. You'll get 11 more episode of
Flash Gordon, running 154 minutes, and 16 more episodes of
Defenders of the Earth, running 352 minutes. That's 506 minutes on 4 discs, plus a bonus
Flash documentary tossed in as well. Cost is just $12.98 SRP, which is already amazingly low...but then you can
pre-order from Amazon for just $8.99! Certainly a bargain. It's available starting on
August 12th.
