Nash Bridges - The 2nd Season was
announced this past Monday, and it's coming to DVD as a 5-disc set on
March 3rd. We've learned a few new things about this release, thanks to studio info sent around to retailers (and we appreciate our industry friends who forwarded the info to us!). For one thing, we've found out that the second season episodes on this collection are digitially retouched for quality purposes.
We've also found out that there are "
brand new exclusive special features, including audio commentaries with Don Johnson, Cheech Marin, and show creator Carlton Cuse (Lost
) and a Featurette where the show's writers and crew discuss the show." This is a bigger release than last time (5 DVDs instead of 2), so it's no surprise that the list price is a bit higher at $49.99 SRP. Package art hasn't been finalized just yet, but here's an early look at it that the studio sent to retailers along with the above info (all of which could still be subject to change):
