NYPD Blue first came to DVD in March, 2003, and it was a short wait indeed from that to the second season DVDs: just 5 months. But then it was a much longer wait between the second season and the not-quite-released yet third season set: when NYPD Blue - The Complete 3rd Season ships on Feb. 21st, it will have been a staggering 30 months between releases!
But our industry sources tell us that Fox is already hard at work on the 4th Season box set for this show! While specifics aren't available yet, we're told that the studio is working toward a wait of only three or four months, and hopes to ship the set in either May or June of this year. A specific date will be set shortly, and as Fox finalizes things we ought to get the official announcement before too long. Stay tuned and we'll keep you informed, okay?
