The information above is taken directly from Fox's announcement information, and we're not sure why some of those discs look a bit skimpy on the content. It almost seems like an entire DVD could be eliminated from this set and still have enough room on the final disc's final side for extras, right? Well, we think the reason is because these don't use the normal double-sided DVDs you find on TV-DVD releases. The normal kind are "DVD-18" style, which has double-density on both sides of the disc. This set appears to use the "DVD-14" style of double-sided DVDs, though, with one side double-density and the other side single-density. As we know,
fans have complained about DVD-18s, so it looks like Fox is probably switching over to a double-sided disc that may prove to be more reliable. It's just a theory here until we confirm it with the studio.
Aspect Ratio is 1.33:1 full screen, and audio is English, Spanish and French. Subtitles in English and Spanish. Running time is 990 minutes. Cost is $39.98 SRP in the USA and CA$54.98 SRP in Canada. We're still waiting on the cover art for this, but stay tuned and we'll show it off once we get ahold of it.
