One of television's most acclaimed series returns! The award-winning groundbreaking cop series NYPD Blue returns with more riveting drama and gritty New York City action at the 15th Precinct. On January 21, 2014, Shout! Factory will release NYPD Blue: Season 5 in a 6-DVD box set featuring all 22 original episodes.

Season Five finds Sipowicz (Dennis Franz) and Simone (Jimmy Smits) dealing with the aftermath of the Joey Salvo homicide, setting up a rape sting, following the trail of a stripper killer and investigating a murderous home invasion. Meanwhile Medavoy (Gordon Clapp), Martinez (Nicholas Turturro) and Russell (Kim Delaney) uncover a body-snatching ring, investigate the murder of a rock-and-roll manager and look for a man suspected of robbing taxis.

Winner of three Primetime Emmy awards, NYPD Blue: Season Five features memorable guest-star performances from Terrance Howard (Law & Order: Los Angeles, Iron Man), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Revolution), Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0, Lost) Mos Def (The Italian Job, Dexter), Mark Pellegrino (The Big Lebowski, Lost) and Titus Welliver (Argo, Lost).
