Rhino Home Video has announced the final specs for the
Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection Volume 4 DVD set.
As we reported, this package will be available on November 18th, and the list price is $59.95 for a 4-disc set that clocks in at approximately 500 minutes.
As
expected a while ago by the "gots-connections" guys over at
the Satellite News website, this release features the following four adventures in space-torture cinema:
- Girl in Gold Boots
- Space Mutiny
- Hamlet
- Overdrawn at the Memory Bank
In addition, there are extras in the way of brand-new introductions by Mike Nelson for each episode, plus the original trailer for
Girl in Gold Boots and the original TV spot for
Girl in Gold Boots as well.
Unfortunately one extra that the guys at Satellite News reported for this set - the
Hamlet trailer - isn't mentioned on Rhino's sell sheet. Was it just left off the sheet? Perhaps it could not be cleared for this release after all.
Well, I don't think this will damage the reputation of the fine folk at Satellite News much; they're still a top-notch bunch of folk who were even able to provide this swell color shot of the eye-popping collectable packaging (which we've moved onto a white background to stand out better):
