The other day we
posted news that there are a few online retailers who show that
Mystery Science Theater 3000 - Volume 10 will be shipped by Rhino on August 8th, at a $59.95 SRP. Since posting that, we saw that some folks were expressing doubts about our info, especially since we didn't bother to name or link to any of the retailers. Okay, here's two of the best-known ones:
Buy.com and
VideoUniverse.com (a.k.a. CD Universe). However, that's a moot point now, because the release date those retailers are giving is off by a few weeks!
Yesterday, a high-ranking source at Rhino saw our story from Sunday and contacted us with the correct release date for
Mystery Science Theater 3000 - Volume 10. While we weren't provided with other information about the package just yet (presumably because Rhino needs to finish firming things up), we were told to expect this release on
August 29th. Note, though, that this is where it is on the schedule right now, but is still subject to change.
