MST3K website, report today about the next release from Rhino,
Mystery Science Theater 3000 - The Essentials, set for an
Aug. 31 release:
RHINO ANNOUNCES NEW DVD SET
On August 31, Rhino Home Video will release a new 2-DVD set it is calling MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 - THE ESSENTIALS. It will contain two episodes that scored very high on the poll of fans we took several years ago: Episode 321- SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS and episode 424- "MANOS"-THE HANDS OF FATE.
The set will have a suggested retail price of $24.95.
We have no information yet about any extras that may be included on the set. When we get more info, we will pass it along immediately, of course.
Our sources indicate that more sets will follow with more titles that have not been previously available, from both the Comedy Central and Sci-Fi Channel eras.
