In mid-February we
reported that Rhino.com's online-only single disc release of
Mystery Science Theater 3000 - The Giant Gila Monster had been delayed. Originally planned to ship on 2/5, then on 2/11, the most recent delay described the ship timeframe as "the end of February/early March". And "early March" turns out to be it! Yesterday afternoon, beginning around approximately 5:30PM Eastern time, people who had ordered this (including my wife, Stephanie) received a notice which began as follows:
"We would like you to know that your backorder/special order has shipped!"
That's going in the books as 3/5, exactly 1 month later than originally stated. So, if you have this item on backorder, then check your e-mail's inbox and see if you have gotten a similar notice. If not, then contact "Rhinorecords@thestore24.com" or call (888) 440-4232 toll-free in the USA, or else (954) 255-4160 if you're an International customer. Word is that "orders shipped via US Domestic Mail should arrive within 4 - 10 business days after they are shipped".
