When
Dave posted the news for the third season of
Murder, She Wrote he mentioned the cross-over episode with
Magnum P.I. titled "Novel Murder." Dave hoped that Universal would include the episode on the season 3 set, but we hadn't seen specs yet to know whether it was happening. A few days later we received the final specs, but the bonus episode included on the set was an episode from season 4, not the
Magnum episode. I quickly picked up the phone and called someone at Universal to discuss the cross-over episode. He excused himself to look into the issue and see if the
Magnum episode could be swapped with the fourth season episode. A few days later I got an email from Universal saying they were able to swap the episodes; it was done at the last minute!
So there's a change in the specs for the set; the fourth season bonus episode has been replaced with
"Novel Connection" from Magnum P.I.'s seventh season.
