Today sees the release of Murder, She Wrote - The Complete 7th Season, and when you open it up there will be a little something in there to encourage you to come back for more Murder. Universal has inserted a coupon inside for $3 off the purchase of the as-yet-unannounced Season 8 DVD set. There's no release date on the coupon; it just says that it will be "coming soon".
That coupon doesn't expire until December 2008, so that gives the studio a long time to get the next season set out and still let that savings offer be usable. However, I doubt you'll have to wait that long...probably between late January and mid-February would be my guess. Thanks goes to "Todd" for his e-mail about this.
