The Best of the Muppet Show - Volume 8 will also go to retailers soon afterward.
April 6 finally sees the in-store bow of this DVD, which has been
available via subscription from Time-Life since 2001. This one features 3 complete episodes of
The Muppet Show, with special guest stars Diana Ross, Brooke Shields, and ballet superstar Rudolph Nureyev (who joins Miss Piggy at "Swine Lake").
List price is $19.95 for this DVD, which is in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio and with an English 2-channel Mono soundtrack. Look for extra footage, some brief behind-the-scenes material, and an easter egg to round out the supplements on this disc.
