In our
news item the other day, we told you we were on the lookout for more details, and for cover art. Well, we seem to have killed two birds with one stone!
Here is the cover art for
The Munsters - The Complete 1st Season, courtesy of Universal. There's an external shot, followed by an open shot of the outer box, with the disc-holding "digipak" inside:
If you note the flipped-open box top, it has the table of contents on it. We've taken that portion of the shot, rotated it, and cleared it up as best we can. You can see that the episodes which are found on each side of the 3 double-sided DVDs:
It looks like there are only episodes listed on there, and no special features seem to be present (other than the unaired pilot, a.k.a. "My Fair Munster," at the start of Disc 1, Side A). Unless there's something they chose not to list there (possible, since listing 39 episodes didn't seem to leave too much room in that space), it would be our guess that nothing further in the way of supplements are on-board. If we find out differently, then we'll surely let you know.
6 DVD "sides" of episodes for $59.98 SRP? After the normal store discounts, it will definately come to well under $10 per "side"...not a bad deal, even if no other extras are forthcoming. Looks like any decent
Munsters fan should certainly plan on grabbing this one!
