This past July we
reported how
The Mummy: The Animated Series, the animated TV spin-off of the popular Brendan Fraser live-action films, was coming to DVD with all 26 episodes split into 3 "volume" releases. That those would be available at general retail in Canada, but only sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores here in the USA.
Now this morning Amazon.com has posted pre-order listings to purchase
Volume 1,
Volume 2 and
Volume 3 from them. All three will be shipping on
December 16th. Cost is shown at $14.98 SRP per volume, but Amazon is currently discounting that to $9.99 each (Amazon pricing is subject to change at their discretion, without notice).
It appears that content will be identical to the existing releases, and so we presume that the package art - even though it's not posted at Amazon yet - will also be the same as what we've seen before. Here's the previous artwork:
