The last time we
updated you about Eagle Rock's release today,
September 27th, of
The Monkees - Season 1 and
Season 2, we let you know that the box art shown up until then for the
Season 2 set was incorrect, and would be corrected to say that all 26 episodes are on board (a typo on it displayed "25" as the episode count). Since these are hitting stores today, we wanted to pass along to you that we've seen the discs, and the
Season 2 really DOES contain all 26 episodes that it ought to (plus the 1969 post-series special). However, the first printing of the packaging still says "25," and we suppose that will make it sort of a collectors' item, then, because the second printing will indeed be corrected to say "26."
