At the beginning of February we
had the scoop from reliable industry sources that
Monk - Season 6 would be released on June 10th. However, in recent days we heard that the studio, Universal Studios Home Entertainment, was doing some last-minute shuffling in their schedule. This morning's announcement bears out those rumors, as we discover that
Monk - Season 6 will instead ship about a month later than expected, on
July 8th.
The 16-episode collection will come on 4 DVDs running 11 hours and 23 minutes long. Cost is going to be $59.98 SRP. Video specs are Anamorphic Widescreen (1.78:1), and audio specs are listed in the announcement as English Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround. English subtitles are included. Package art isn't in yet, but we do have this list of extras for you:
