The Mole - Season set release coming, it appears

Fans of The Mole probably remember that March 2004 saw the release on DVD of Celebrity Mole: Hawaii from a company called Eagle Rock (aka Eagle Media; they also produce the Red Entertainment-distributed DVDs for The Man Show).

Now several of our readers, starting with "Anthony" (thanks to everyone who wrote in), pointed us toward an apparently recent listing at Eagle's website for The Mole - The Complete 1st Season. It looks like this is coming to DVD soon, but no date or price was available yet (the "Buy Now" link at the site doesn't seem to work). Here's their description of the show:
The hit reality series full of mystery, adventure and fun. 10 players work as a team to complete a series of difficult physical and psychological tests. However, one of the players is a "mole" whose goal it is to foil the efforts of the other thirteen players without revealing his or her identity. In the final dramatic episode, The Mole is revealed and the one remaining player wins the jackpot, up to $1,000,000.

Note that there's a contradiction in that description, because it mentions both "10 players," and then later talks about the player who's the Mole plus "the other thirteen players." Which is it, 10 or 14? Answer: the first season had 10 players, and the second season had 14. So they have a bit of a glitch in this description, but it's an understandable one.

They also have some cover art at this site, which you can see below. Stay tuned, and we'll bring you further details about this release once we can get ahold of them.
