Last week we
did the talking about
Mister Ed - The Complete 2nd Season, which is racing to DVD from Shout! Factory on
February 2nd. Since then we've learned about a couple of the extras that will be included on this 4-disc set. One of them is a Featurette about Studebaker, the auto-maker who sponsored the series, and a look at the commercials used for that sponsorship. The other is a bit closer to home for us here: it's thanks to our good friend Stuart Shostak of
Stu's Show, the call-in program that is broadcast via
Shokus Internet Radio. Included on this DVD set is an archived Audio Interview from
Stu's Show with none other than show stars Alan Young and Connie Hines ("Wilbur and Carol Post"). That's a terrific idea, as Stu's interviews are mostly about vintage shows such as this one, and we hope to see more of that with future DVD releases!
