We've started to receive emails from readers who have noticed other sites reporting on an April release for the first season of Mission: Impossible, and they wondered why we didn't have news up. We checked with our sources, and they told us the first season wouldn't be ready in time to tie into the new movie, which should be out in May, so the set has been delayed. It's likely we'll see the release of the show (possibly even two seasons worth, since Peter Graves didn't start until the second season) tied-in to the home video release of the new movie this Fall instead. That timeframe hasn't been officially confirmed by the studio but our contacts at the studio do agree that the first season won't make it out in time for Spring.
