Peter Graves reprises his role as Jim Phelps, the brilliant and charismatic leader of the Impossible Missions Force. Summoned out of retirement, Phelps organizes a new team of I.M.F. agents in order to carry out dangerous and complex assignments. The revival of the classic, award-winning spy show that launched the blockbuster film franchise debuts on DVD with its first explosive season! 5 disc set - released in time for the December theatrical debut of the Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol film - includes all 19 first season episodes introducing the new IMF team. Notable Guest Stars: Parker Stevenson (The Hardy Boys), Maud Adams (Octopussy), Lynda Day George (Mission: Impossible).
Peter Graves, Jane Badler (seen in both the old and new versions of V) and Phil Morris (seen in Smallville, and who is the son of original M:I star Greg Morris) are among the cast of the 1988 revival for Mission: Impossible. The first of that show's two seasons has been announced for DVD release on November 29th, titled as "Mission: Impossible - The '88 TV Season." The 5-disc set runs 923 minutes and includes the guest stars mentioned in the studio description quoted above. Another guest star, seen in the show's debut episode, is John de Lancie (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Torchwood: Miracle Day). Here's the package art for this title:

CORRECTION: The date above, November 29th, is now correct. Due to a typographical error, the date originally showed up as the 19th. We regret any confusion this may have caused.
