Recently we
reported that Acorn Media is preparing for the 19-DVD collectible release of
Midsomer Murders - Barnaby's Casebook, which will be generally available at retail on
January 5th. A few of our readers, such as Larissa McDaniel (thanks to everybody who wrote in), pointed out though that Amazon showed a different release date in their listing. We checked in with the studio, Acorn, to let them know that the big e-tailer was possibly showing a wrong date...but Acorn had some great news for us instead! Rather than Amazon's listing having wrong info, Acorn tells us that the studio and online retailer are working together to make the set available early through Amazon...on next Tuesday,
November 10th! Also getting the set early will be stores in the Barnes & Noble chain (not every one sells DVDs, though...check for availability at the location nearest you). If you want to get it in time for Christmas, then make sure you pre-order your copy now, at the button link just below:
