ABC's sitcom starring Neil Flynn (Scrubs) and Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond) is already two-thirds of the way through broadcasting their fourth season, but the third season still hasn't made it out onto DVD yet. What's going on? Well, we've spoken to Warner Home Video about this, and we've gotten confirmation from them that The Middle - The Complete 3rd Season on DVD is currently in-the-works. This will be a "wide" general retail release, we're told, and the studio also informs us that no street date has been set at this time...no matter what one brick-and-mortar chain's website might be saying! This is still very much an unfinished project, so details, package art and a specific release date aren't available yet. Nor is there any word about how soon we might see the currently-airing fourth season of the show on DVD (we suppose that will depend on how well the third season set sell!).
