Will the music be replaced on season 2?
Universal has released the following information for the set:
Unforgettable Music Remixed in 5.1 Surround Sound
Features all of the original music including Phil Collins, U2, The Who and many more!
That's (unsubstituted) music to the ears of fans that wondered what was in store for season 2. Hopefully Universal can license the music for the remaining seasons as well. We posted the announcement for season 2
last week, and
cover art yesterday.
Universal has also released a different menu shot. The picture is different, and the "Bonus" option from the first menu is gone. We don't know if this means "Ride With Vice" has been removed from the release (a recent trade publication ad made mention of it), or if they'll be changing these menus again. Or this could just be a menu pic from one of the discs that doesn't have any bonus material on it.
