Amazon has posted a series of listings lately, taking pre-orders for upcoming titles which haven't actually been announced by the studio yet. One of these is
How I Met Your Mother - The Legendary Season 4 on DVD from Fox Home Entertainment. Since the product isn't officially on the schedule so far, the Amazon pre-order listing doesn't have a release date. Instead it says "
This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." It does have pricing, though, showing $39.98 SRP (but you can place your pre-order right away, and lock in a copy at a discount). No other details are available yet, but - unlike the similar titles up for eary pre-order there - Amazon might just have some box art. We show it below; it's apparently not in the same "thinpak" sytle of packaging used in previous releases, so this may not be final art. Then again, with the economy in its present state, many studios are switching box styles as a cost-cutting measure.
