Information about the first season of
Melrose Placeis coming out very slowly. The most recent piece of information comes from Amazon.com, not the studio. They've updated their
preorder listing to include the special features:
- Mini featurettes
- Season 1 episode recaps
So fears of this being a bare-bones release should be put to rest, and hey, maybe those aren't all the bonus features we'll see on the set. The studio appears to be bundling the first seasons of
Melrose Place and
Beverly Hills, 90210 together in a set called "The Good, the Bad & the Beautiful Pack."
Amazon is selling this for $89.00, which is more than buying the sets individually;
$36.99 for Melrose Place and
$35.87 for 90210. We'll do some digging around to find out if there's anything different with this set - it contains 14 discs, which is the same as buying the two sets together (8 for
Melrose and 6 for
90210).
