With the third season package out for just a bit over a month now, CBS/Paramount and Spelling Entertainment have announced this morning that Melrose Place - The Complete 4th Season will be released on April 15, 2008. No other info is available yet, but don't forget that this is the season which opens with a bang, as half the apartment complex goes up in a massive explosion set by one of the characters in the previous season's cliffhanger!
There are 32 episodes, including two double-length episodes. One of those is the season finale, where we see the last of Daphne Zuniga as "Jo." Kristin Davis (Sex and the City) also exits the cast this season, in events which unfold during the other long episode. Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) went from a recurring character to a regular cast member at the start of this season. Look for recurring roles from Perry King (Riptide) and Antonio Sabato Jr. (The Bold and the Beautiful), among other guest stars.
