Animal Planet and Genius Entertainment are preparing a DVD release at retail for
Meerkat Manor - Season 2, we've learned. According to
a listing at Amazon.com (which isn't set up to accept pre-purchases just yet, but should be ready for that soon), the ship date is planned for
April 8th. These episodes are available already both direct from the Discovery Channel online store, and also through Amazon in a "DVD-R burn-to-order" fashion, but this will be the first time you'll be able to get
Meerkat Manor - Season 2 at your local DVD seller.
Information we've obtained from distributor Genius Entertainment confirms that date, and provides a cost of $24.95 SRP for 13 episodes running 260 minutes. The 2-DVD set will be presented in Widescreen. There's no word yet on extras, if any, nor is cover art ready just yet. Stay tuned, though, and we'll follow up after that becomes available!
