A couple of weeks ago we brought you
the first look at the front cover and studio info for Shout! Factory's upcoming
January 15th release of
Medabots - The Complete 1st Season. Now we've got an updated look at the box art, in high resolution at a 3-D angle. You can see that below.
But first we've also got word of an extra bonus episode on these discs. No, not another episode of
Medabots, but instead a special inclusion of the complete, full first episode of
Oban Star-Racers. About a month ago
we told you that this Jetix animated series, which airs in the USA on Toon Disney, was coming to DVD by way of Shout! in the springtime. We also mentioned how much the DVD Producer there, Brian Ward, believes in this show and wants to get folks interested in it. He's worked with the necessary people at all the involved companies, and made this special preview happen. So anybody who picks up
Medabots will also get a great look at
Oban Star-Racers, at no extra charge.
