Anchor Bay hasn't officially announced it yet, but Amazon.com has added
a pre-order listing for
Masters of Science Fiction. It shows that
August 5th will be the release date for this package with all 6 episodes produced for ABC's short-lived late 2007 series. That includes episodes based on stories written by Robert A. Heinlein (directed by Michael Tolkin) and Harlan Ellison (directed by Jonathan Frakes), as well as two episodes unaired in the USA. The pre-purchase cost at Amazon is $20.99 at present, discounted from the list price of $29.97 SRP. Running time given is 264 minutes, but no other details are available yet.
