Martin - Release Date Revealed for Martin - The Complete 5th Season

It's been just under a month since we reported that Martin - The Complete 5th Season DVDs had shown up as an early pre-order listing at Amazon. There was a title, cover art and pricing, but no release date or other details. But today HBO and Warner Home Video made it official, and provided a street date of October 7th at last. Here's their description, followed by the finale 3-D package art:

Martin Lawrence plays Martin Payne, a brash radio personality who always speaks his mind, often to the frustration of Gina (Tisha Campbell), who is now his wife. His buddies Tommy and Cole are always on hand to lend support, especially when Martin locks his horns with Gina’s loud-mouthed co-worker, Pam (Tichina Arnold).

Then, of course, there’s Martin’s overprotective mother, Mama Payne, his sassy-tongued next door neighbor, Sheneneh Jenkins, and the overbearing player, Jerome...all performed by Lawrence himself. Martin Season 5 begins with Gina thinking that she might be pregnant. And with new job offers for both Martin and Gina in L.A., will they be prompted to move?
