MARRIED... WITH CHILDREN:
THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON

Ed O'Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate & David Faustino, along with Guest Stars Including Pamela Anderson, Matt LeBlanc and Renee Zellweger, Debut on DVD June 20

Culver City, Calif. - Television's favorite dysfunctional family returns when Married... with Children: The Complete Fifth Season debuts on DVD June 20 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. All 25 episodes of bawdy humor are included in a three-disc set available for $39.95 SRP.

Developed as an effective counterpoint to television's happiest (and then highest-rated) family sitcom The Cosby Show, Married... with Children premiered on April 5, 1987. Changing the face of family sitcoms forever, the series made a network (FOX) and lasted for 267 episodes over 11 seasons. During the fifth season, Married... with Children reached its 100th episode milestone.

Married... with Children still reigns as one of the most outrageous TV comedies ever produced and the fifth season is no exception. This year finds the Bundy family -- loser Al (Ed O'Neill of TV's "Dragnet"), slovenly wife Peg (Katey Sagal of TV's "8 Simple Rules"), ditsy tramp of a daughter Kelly (Christina Applegate of Anchorman), and sexually frustrated son Bud (David Faustino of Saving Bud) -- continuing to live their lives in complete disharmony. Kelly interviews for a job, Al becomes the neighborhood stud, Bud gets into a car accident, Peg takes up ballroom dancing, and the hapless Marcy (Amanda Bearse) marries handsome con artist Jefferson (Ted McGinley of TV's "The Love Boat," "Happy Days"). Guest stars this season include Pamela Anderson (TV's "Stacked," "VIP," "Baywatch"), Matt LeBlanc (TV's "Friends," "Joey"), Academy Award®-winner Renee Zellweger (Cold Mountain, Chicago, Bridget Jones's Diary), Joey Lauren Adams (Chasing Amy), Tia Carrere (Wayne's World, TV's "Dancing with the Stars"), Tina Louise (TV's "Gilligan's Island"), Debbie Dunning (TV's "Home Improvement"), Blues guitarist B.B. King, football player Bubba Smith, Jerry Mathers (TV's "Leave It to Beaver"), Sam McMurray (TV's "The Tracey Ullman Show"), Dan Castellaneta (TV's "The Simpsons"), Ian Ziering (TV's "Beverly Hills, 90210") and Dr. Joyce Brothers.
