With
the first season under their belts for a month and a half now, Shout! Factory has revealed that they are going back to the classic Robert Young drama with
Marcus Welby, M.D. - Season 2 on DVD! This info comes to us courtesy of an
Amazon.com pre-order listing that shows a release date of
October 12th, and a cost discounted from the list price of $49.97 SRP. The only other info at Amazon's entry right now is that this will be a 6-disc set, with an approximate run time of 1140 minutes (time may not be accurate).
Besides Robert Young as Welby, we'll also have James Brolin (father of
Jonah Hex star Josh Brolin), Elena Verdugo, plus appearances by the likes of Cloris Leachman, William Schallert, Lee Purcell, Kathleen Lloyd, Stacy Keach Sr., Michele Lee, Jeanette Nolan, Alma Platt, Larry Hagman, Suzanne Pleshette, Carmen Zapata, Ricardo Montalban, Mariette Hartley, Belinda Montgomery, Richard Thomas, James Farentino, Walter Pidgeon, Dana Elcar, Joseph Campanella, Pat Harrington Jr. and Jessica Walter.
