This morning CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced that Mannix - The 2nd Season is coming to home video just after the turn of the year. The second season saw Joe Mannix (Mike Connors) leave the Intertect detective agency, with its computer-assisted crime-solving, to being a private detective on his own, with the administrative help of his secretary Peggy Fair (Gail Fisher, joining the series for the first time).
Guest stars during these 25 episodes include Gerald S. O'Loughlin, Jill Ireland, Harry Dean Stanton, John Colicos, Cloris Leachman, Frank Campanella, Larry Linville, Richard Anderson, Dana Elcar, Bobby Troup, Slim Pickens, Robert Reed, Yaphet Kotto, Susan Oliver, Paul Winfield and Sally Kellerman.
Episodes will be presented in full screen video, with English mono audio. Running time is 1277 minutes. This will be available to own on January 6th. Stay tuned for package art, and any further clues to this release that we uncover.
