Update: We've spoken to CBS Home Video and have been told ALL the music will be intact. The statement on the set is a standard disclaimer which appears on their TV releases.
Mannix - The 2nd Season is on the way to DVD, set to be available starting on January 6th. CBS/Paramount has now provided the rear package art for this set, and we've got it for you below. It's worth noting, however, that the specs area near the bottom of the rear artwork has the disclaimer that "Music has been changed for this home entertainment version". That's a disclaimer which was NOT present on the first season set...a situation that may be all-too-familiar to people who bought the second season sets of CBS/Paramount releases The Fugitive or My Three Sons! Would the music changes be as drastic as it was on those two titles (i.e., wholesale removal of the underscore)? We don't know at this point in time, though, and we certainly join fans in hoping that this isn't the case!
