The criminal organization THRUSH steals the A-bomb H975 and demands $300,000 to be delivered within 72 hours by their former antagonist Solo. So U.N.C.L.E. has to reactivate the super agents Solo and Kuryakin after they were 15 years out of business to take down THRUSH once and for all...and save the world.
"The 15 Years Later Affair" is the code name for The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.
, a 1983 CBS telefilm which reunited Robert Vaughn and David McCallum. Patrick Macnee (The Avengers
) came in as the head of U.N.C.L.E. for this production, and other cast members included Geoffrey Lewis, Keenan Wynn and former "007" actor George Lazenby (On Her Majesty's Secret Service
) in a cameo as a character credited as "J.B." and driving an Aston Martin...we all know who HE was supposed to be!
Paramount Home Entertainment will release this 97-minute reunion adventure on March 3rd
. It's presented as it originally aired: in full-screen video and with English mono audio. No further details are available about this release yet, nor is box cover art available either...we supposed it's all still marked "top secret." But we've got our spies on the case, and we'll bring it to you when they're successful...or if the studio marks the material "declassified"; whichever comes first! Stay tuned...
