As you probably know, Time Life's attache-case package of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. - The Complete Series was scheduled to ship to the initial pre-order customers for this past Tuesday, November 27th. A few customers have written us to say they had been informed of a delay in that shipping, and our own Gord Lacey contacted Time Life to find out why. And, most importantly, when the sets would ship.
Time Life informed Gord that the sets started shipping yesterday, just a couple of days later than originally planned. All the orders ought to be shipped out no later than next Friday. The cause of the setback? The Wildfires in California caused a short delay in receiving the attache case packaging, which was shipped up from Mexico. That collectible case is now in-stock, though, which is why they were able to begin delivering the sets.
Our thanks to the readers who wrote in, asking us about this issue. Going forward, the dates you see at Time Life's site as an estimated arrival date for an order on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. - The Complete Series, will be based on how soon they expect to deliver YOUR particular new order, and would no longer indicate the original ship date for the title.
