Shout! Factory has announced that the 1996 UPN sitcom Malcolm & Eddie - Season 1 is coming to DVD in 2009! This 4-disc set running 510 minutes will contain all 22 first-season episodes starring Malcolm-Jamal Warner ("Theo" of The Cosby Show) and Eddie Griffin ( Undercover Brother, Redline). It will be available on April 14th.
Guest stars include musician Montell Jordan, Vanessa Williams ( Melrose Place, Soul Food), James Hong ( Chinatown, Blade Runner), Paul Willson ( Cheers), Richard Pryor ( Uptown Saturday Night, Stir Crazy), Tom Arnold ( True Lies, Roseanne), Clifton Davis ( Amen, That's My Mama), Lark Voorhies ( Saved by the Bell), wrestler "Tiny" Lister (a.k.a. "Zeus"), Playboy's Playmate of the Year (1990) Renee Tenison and her twin sister Rosie, Soon-Tek Oh ( The Final Countdown, The Man with the Golden Gun), Valarie Rae Miller ( Dark Angel, Reaper), Ted Lange ( The Love Boat, That's My Mama), Ed McMahon ( The Tonight Show, Star Search), Michael Ensign ( Raise the Titanic, Wargames) and Miriam Flynn ( Grounded for Life, the Vacation films).
