For those of you who watched tonight's episode of
The Simpsons, you may have noticed that Carl gave Homer the first season of
Magnum, P.I. on DVD. We're not sure where Carl got his copy since the show hasn't been released on DVD, yet. There's a chance that he pirated it himself, and if that's the case it was rather foolish of him to advertise this on national television.
Universal Studios hasn't announced plans to release
Magnum, P.I. on DVD at this time, although it was one of the rumored releases that was mentioned in
an article from last August (and the rumors continue to this day). If Universal officially announces the title we'll post the information on the site, but until then you might want to ask Homer to borrow his copy.
