Magnum P.I. - Season 4 will come to DVD soon, Universal has announced, and that brings the classic '80s action series to the halfway mark of its eight-season run. Tom Selleck takes the lead once more on April 4th with 21 episodes of the hour-long show, at a $49.98 SRP for a 3-DVD set. Magnum P.I perhaps was never as big on guest stars as some other shows of that era, but there are still quite a few of note in this season: Carol Channing, Elisha Cook Jr., the voice of Orson Welles, Shannen Doherty, Gretchen Corbett, Robert Ito, John Saxon, Colleen Camp, June Chadwick, Laurette Spang, Carol Burnett, Deborah Pratt, Leslie Uggams, Patrick Macnee, and Cindy Pickett. We are still waiting on word about extras, if any, plus detailed specs and of course the box art. Stay tuned and we'll bring these to you just as soon as the studio makes them available!
