Magnum, P.I. - The 8th Season has been announced this morning for DVD release. Universal Studios Home Entertainment will bring out the final 3-disc set on
March 4th. The final season was a short one, with 13 episodes including a two-art conclusion called "Resolutions," which aired back-to-back in May 1988 (after an almost 3-month lay-off of new episodes). Those episodes cover 605 minutes on this $49.98 SRP release, but you'll also get the following extras:
- Season 7 Finale "Limbo" (the story continued in the Season 8 debut)
- "Pleasure Principle" Commentary with Writer Jay Huguely
- "Legend of the Lost Art" Commentary with Writer Jay Huguely
- "Resolutions, Part II" Commentary with Executive Producer Charles Johnson
- Bonus Episode: The Rockford Files Season 5 - "White on White and Nearly Perfect"
